PROM!!!

Went for a prom on Sunday nite... at Palace of the Golden Horses. Food is superbly good!!

Then again, it should be... it's PGH after all.

Though I was a bit out of place there... cos everyone's from cyber (with a few Malaccan MMU-ians like me and my friends). Performances... was so-so. Seriously don't like the female MC though, it feels like she was screeching her way through the night. Not to say she's bad, but her voice too sharp to be soothing to be MC. Band was overall not bad. MMU students band.

Of course, throughout the whole prom, no one was listening to the MCs, majority of the people ignored the best dresses and prom royalties elections... oh lets not forget the latin dance. Honestly, after learning some stuff about dancing (theory, not practical) and watching dance competitions (not 'So you think you can dance', but 'Dancing with the stars'), the latin dance was a serious let-down. The girl actually stumbled a few times, the dress is all wrong for a latin ballroom dance, and I believe one of the dances they performed was actually a jive(!!), not a latin dance. And according to Peiyi, they do not shake enough (no groove I guess...). Their choice of music is nice though...

It was actually a crazy photo session the whole night! Everyone who is anyone is taking pictures left, right, center!! Total chaos... nice food goes to waste when there's no one to eat them... Hehehe. But the girls were really pretty that night. All beautifully dressed up, some even have trains on their dresses.

And I got a group photo with my housemates of my first year in MMU!!! That is a very amazing feat, cause there are actually nine (yes, NINE) of us all together. Gathering together is extremely hard.

Here's a picture of my whole gang of housemates... pretty girls all line up in a row. Hahahaha...

And another of my good friends from Malacca... There's more, but most did not attend this prom.

And this pretty girl besides me is my Industrial Training friend, met in Motorola. Without her... I'll be seriously girls-deprived (is there even such word?) there. Unfortunately she's a cyberian... :(

I wonder how many of you can actually recognize what I am wearing....

Unfortunately, the minute I come back Malacca is work, work, work again. Sigh... weekend was good while it lasted....

Okay! Time to start doing assignments and studying again!

One more year to a Quarter-Century old.... Wow...

It's 21st... two days past my birthday. Kinda boring, since my birthday was spend doing my FYP report. Horrible!!! But on the good side, I finish the report!! So there! 97 pages though... I feel like I wrote a whole book.

Chao called me, wishing me happy-one-more-year-to-be-a-quarter-century-old. I have no idea whether to be annoyed or to be amused. Still it's a birthday wish... Thanks Chao!

Of course Chao was not the only one who wished me, but hers was the one that managed to make me break apart from my "beloved" report-writing and just stare.

Will not be free anytime soon, not with reports, assignment and final exam. Found out my convo will be in September, but will be finishing end-of-May. So people, I'm coming back to Penang!!!

Wait for me, here I come (back)!!!!

Weird holidays...

Guess what I found out today?? (*Big silly silly grin)

This sunday is Malacca Historical Day and the following monday is a replacement holiday!!!

Actually, it's not the holiday I'm apparently crazy about. After all I'll be stuck with writing my FYP report (which in all honesty is what I should be doing RIGHT now!)... I just can't get what the big fuss about a historical day. Sure, it's Malacca, filled with history and blah blah... so is many other states when you really think about it. Okay, maybe Malacca have more history... and more bloodshed I bet. History only seems to make a mark when it's something exceptional... or there's plenty of death and angst involved.

And the best thing was... ready or not... a malaccan has no idea what Malacca Historical Day is all about!!! I asked him, and he went like 'oh... really ar? What is it about?'.

... I rest my case.

......

Maybe I should hunt for more malaccans to ask about this...

Wow... new toy...

No, not really. Just something way overdue. Those who always complain that I go MIA would know what I mean when I started this blog. A little something that will let everyone knows what the heck is going on around me while I'm not around you guys. Aw... how nice of me ain't it?

Anyway, for those who do not know or haven't realized yet, I'm in my last year (last semester in fact) of my degree. Even better for those who keep forgetting where on Earth I'm studying (... please do not go 'Oh my God, you're STILL studying??!!', thank you very much), I'm studying in MMU in Melaka. MELAKA, people! Please get some facts correct... at least for my sanity. My aunts, uncles as well as cousins already give me enough grieve, please do not add to it. Sob~~

Okay, enough sob story. Sorry for the emo-thingy there. I'm writing my final year project report. As you can probably guess, it's not going so well. Thinking process not working, structuring sentences is a lot harder when I'm trying to write it so that idiots would understand. Not idiots as in idiots, but idiots as in people who do not know a single thing I'm talking about. At least that is my assumption guideline in writing the report. Plus the fact I'm easily distracted (this being a good example)... report is so gone...

Anyway, I'm graduating in June... I think. Well, I finish my finals end of May, but the official ceremony will be held in God knows when. And then I'm leaving Melaka for good! Not that Melaka is not nice, but I really misses Penang. Penang is the best! Woo~hooo!!

I just realized, (yes, please comment more on my blur-ness) that I have many friends utilizing the Internet! Even those who used to tell me that computers are the bane of their life and I should never mention the word 'computer' ever in their presence. Now, wow... they are actually using it. Hahaha... That was mean of me, but nonetheless very true.

I want to go to Melaka zoo before I graduate... a bit crazy, I know, but I just have this urge to visit some of Melaka sites before I come back to Penang permanently. So, anyone wanna join me? I'll be sure to find you a place to stay if my house is not big or good enough.

I should really go back to my report... my reference books and notes are all glaring at me!

Until next time.
